SANTIAGO – A Chilean man was detained by Carabineros de Rancagua troops after he beat his five-year-old stepson with a stick.
According to the preliminary information, the minor was admitted for injuries to the Regional Hospital. According to the minor’s account, the man hit him with a blunt object.
Police have found the tool in the street, before arresting the man on a prosecutor’s order.
The man is is yet t o be identified, according to Radio Bío-Bío.
