VIDEO: Russian plane crashes near Moscow, killing all 71 on board

MOSCOW – A passenger plane crashed on Sunday shortly after taking off from an airport in Moscow, killing all on board.

The Antonov An-148 jet carrying 65 passengers and six crew members reportedly crashed in the countryside near the Russian capital, according to Russia Today.

A video showing the crash site of a Saratov Airlines plane near Moscow has emerged online. The footage shows wreckage scattered in the snow.

Reports said the jet belonging to Saratov Airlines had been travelling to the city of Orsk.

Emergency workers on Monday found around 200 body parts strewn across a snowy field  at the crash site.

The body parts found among and around the wreckage of the Saratov Airlines plane will be removed by Monday evening as a team of 600 continue to comb the area with the help of search aircraft, a Russian emergency ministry spokesman said.

Russian Transport Minister Maksim Sokolov flew to the site of the alleged crash near Argunovo village in the Moscow region.
