SANTIAGO – María Luisa Brahm, president of the constitutional court, this week signed a convention with the Comparative Constitutions Project for the Chilean constitution to be published in English, in order to be able to compare our Fundamental Charter with other constitutions of other countries.

Furthermore, not only will the Chilean constitution be published in English, but also the rulings of the constitutional court. This will be a great contribution to the comparative study of the constitution, in addition to the understanding that the constitutional court has in the Fundamental Charter.

In the words of the same president of the constitutional court: “It will contribute to understanding the role played by the TC as an essential and indispensable body in any democratic regime”

The virtual ceremony also included the participation of the ministers Gonzalo García and Miguel Ángel Fernández, as well as the manager of the CCP, Jessie Baugher, and the managers of this initiative, the alternate minister Rodrigo Delaveau and the director of the CCP, Tom Ginsburg.
