Those interested in pursuing studies in Canada had the opportunity to obtain first-hand information on undergraduate and post-graduate careers such as Master’s and Doctorates, as well as language courses, technical careers and exchanges, among other options.
The representatives of Canadian institutions explained the varied academic alternatives offered by Canadian education, the characteristics of their study programs, housing and financing options, such as scholarships available, as well as study permits.
Among the many advantages of Canadian education is the excellence of its programs and its academics, innovation, the infrastructure of its institutions, its convenient prices, the safety of its cities and the multiculturalism of Canadian society. It also highlights the fact that foreign students can work in Canada while they study, as long as they have a study permit (mandatory for courses of more than 6 months).
A must-see this year was the scholarship that was raffled among those attending the fair. Thanks to the support of the Association of Colleges and Institutes Canada, this grants an amount of $5,000 Canadian dollars to study at the Southern Alberta Technological Institute (SAIT).
The institutions participating in the EduCanadáson Fair were the following:
