SANTIAGO – Chile’s President Michelle Bachelet on Monday opened a new $127 billion hospital in Chimbarongo, in central O’Higgins region (VI).
“With its more than 5,800 meters of surface and an investment that has exceeded 10 billion pesos in infrastructure and equipment, this new hospital has nothing to envy to any private area, since it was built with the same technical requirements as the regional hospital, which we visited recently, “said the head of state.
The new facility has hospitalization rooms, 20 beds and a procedure room. It has 14 clinical boxes, 2 gynecological, 4 dental and another for healing and treatments. It has everything necessary for emergency care and support units, for the delivery of the food program, pharmacy, ray room, laboratory, imaging, and sterilization, among others.
