SANTIAGO – Through Quebec Creates organization, artists and exhibitors from Canada will be part of the most relevant event of the music industry in Chile.
Aiming to generate exchange instances among different musical industries, along with contributing to the development of an important cultural agenda, the 8th edition of Feria Pulsar will include the visit from experts and musical proposals from other countries as well.
Therefore, this year’s special guest at the most important event of the Chilean music industry will be the this North American country, thanks to the support of Quebec Creates organization and through the presence of different exhibitors and musicians.
All of them will be joined by a series of programmers, buyers and representatives from several festivals and fairs around the world, who will come to Feria Pulsar to learn more about the Chilean music scene.
Feria Pulsar will take place between 24th-26th of November at Centro Cultural Estación Mapocho, and it will feature the live performances of two projects coming from Montreal: the experimental and trip-hop influenced music of Kroy will be on stage on Saturday 25 at 6:00 p.m., while the indie rock trio We Are Wolves will perform on Sunday 26 at the same time. The band has already toured Canada, the United States and Europe.
In addition, to discuss and analyze the present and the future of the music industry, prominent speakers will also be at Feria Pulsar: Elaine Dumont, General Director of International Affairs of the Society of Cultural Industries (SODEC); Sonia Bergeron, agent at Dare record company; Sandy Boutin, founder and president of Simone Records; the Canadian Independent Music Association (CIMA), and the Foundation Assisting Canadian Talent on Recordings (FACTOR).
The tickets for Feria Pulsar 2017 are available on dticket.cl system and also at Salas SCD (free of charge), with prices ranging from $ 2,000 to $ 9,000 (three-day ticket).
