SANTIAGO – Chile’s star footballer Alexis Sanchez paid an emotional visit to a small town in Chile this week as the Arsenal forward continues his extended summer break following the Confederations Cup.
Sanchez was accompanied on his visit to Sauzal by his new girlfriend Mayte Rodriguez and three other close friends as they jetted off to Chile by helicopter.
Sanchez filmed his trip to Sauzal and uploaded it on his official Instagram account.
Sanchez captioned his social media post: ‘Everything you do, leave a mark on others. Try to do everything with love and the trail will be beautiful.’
Sanchez has made it clear he wants to challenge for the Premier League title while also attempting to add a Champions League winners medal to his collection.
