KATHMANDU, Nepal – A Californian couple recently tied the nuptial knot at the Mount Everest – making their wedding world’s foremost event at one of the coldest spots.
James Sissom, 35, and Ashley Schmieder, 32, solemnized their wedding at the end of March in the most unlikely of places.
The daredevil pair got married at Everest Base Camp after spending three weeks hiking to get there.
It took three weeks for the duo to trek along with photographer Charleton Churchill, and reached the 17,000-foot-high Base Camp Everest.
Amidst freezing temperature, the couple exchanged wedding vows at the highest peak in the world.
