PANAMA CITY – U.S. actor Morgan Freeman is in Panama to make a series called ”The Story of God” to be broadcast by cable television channel National Geographic, about the vision of different cultures and religions about faith.
To film ‘The Story of God’ Freeman will visit a community located at the Chagres National Park, a place where -Freeman highlighted- people live happy and stress-free.
The third season of the series which began to be broadcast in April 2016 is now under production.
In it, Freeman compares several points of view about faith, God and his great power.
Freeman, a 79-year-old man whose artistic career has extended for 46 as an actor and director, has been nominated four times to the Oscar Award for his performances in films such as ’42nd Street Smart’ (1987), ‘Driving Miss Daisy’ (1989), ‘The Shawshank Redemption’ (1994) and ‘Invictus’ (2009), a Golden Globe as Best Actor in ‘Driving Miss Daisy’ and a Cecil B DeMille Award in 2011 for AFI Life Achievement Award.
