Triple H beats Rusev in sensational return match in Chile

SANTIAGO – Wrestling legend Triple H made a triumphant return to WWE as he defeated Miroslav Barnyashev (Rusev) in Chile on Sunday.

The Bulgarian Bulldozer was no match for the 14-time world champion as The Game secured the pinfall after delivering a devastating Pedigree in Santiago.

He was quickly joined in the ring by former tag team champs The New Day who persuaded The Game to join them in a celebration dance, much to the delight of the sold out crowd.

But the Cerebral Assassin quickly reverted back to type after briefly entertaining fans with his moves and sucker-punched Kofi Kingston and hit him with another Pedigree before making a sharp exit.

Triple H followed fellow legend Kurt Angle by making a sensational comeback to the ring.

The King of Kings had announced his comeback on Saturday for his first match since WrestleMania.

The 48-year-old stepped back between the ropes to replace Kevin Owens during WWE’s tour of South America. Owens returned home from the trip earlier this week due a family issue.
