SANTIAGO – Santiago’s mayor Felipe Alessandri has thanked China for a new donation of bicycles for the Chilean capital’s police.
The bicycles will help to increase patrols in crowded places and reduce crime and insecurity, highlighted the mayor in a delivery ceremony he headed with the Chinese Ambassador to Chile, Li Baorong the other day.
Alessandri also referred to other donations made by the Chinese community in the Chilean capital, namely repainting the city’s Museum of Contemporary Art.
