Film Collective presents Paraguayan thriller’s Chilean premiere – with a Jazz cocktail

SANTIAGO – In its first event, Film Collective Santiago will screen highly acclaimed Paraguayan thriller ‘7 Boxes’ for movie lovers in Chile.

The film community that shares independent movies from around the world is geared towards expats in the South American country.

A wild chase ensues when a rival carter tries to stop a teenager, Victor, from delivering seven crates to the other end of a Paraguayan street market.

The film, screened in Santiago, will have English as well as Spanish subtitles. The premiere show will be held at 8:30 PM on May 16th (Tuesday) at Centro Cultural Alameda, followed by a Jazz cocktail (beverages and appetizers included) featuring Candian vocalist Mia Praught.

Tickets, 12,000 CLP ($10,000) each, are available through Centro Cultural Alameda and Film Collective Santiago.
