SANTIAGO/HAVANA – Artists from 16 countries including Chile will perform in Havana during the International Dance Festival in Urban Landscapes.
The 22nd festival, also known as ‘Habana Vieja a city in motion’, offers various exhibitions of pictures and plastic arts, screening of videos, performances of music concerts and dance at parks, plazas, streets and museums in the city center.
The event, which is to continue from March 29th to April 2nd, will be attended by some 40 Cuban groups, in addition to groups from Germany, Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Spain, United States, France, Norway, Uruguay and Mexico.
The festival, organized by the dance-theatre company Retazos and the City Historian’s Office, with the support of the Theater Center of Havana will provide participants with educational development through courses, workshops, lectures given by Cuban and foreign professors.
