Chile’s Levita Magnetics ranked among Most Innovative Companies for 2017

SAN MATEO, California — Levita Magnetics has been listed as one of the “Top 10 Most Innovative Companies in Health” for being the first mover in Magnetic Surgery.

In a statement on Thursday, the medical technology company that is evolving surgery through Magnetic Surgery announced it has been named by Fast Company as one of the Top 10 Most Innovative Companies in Health for 2017.

Most Innovative Companies is one of Fast Company’s most significant and highly anticipated editorial efforts of the year. To produce the 2017 list, Fast Company reporters surveyed thousands of enterprises across the globe to identify the most notable innovations of the year and trace the impact of those initiatives on business, industry, and the larger culture.

“We are honored that Fast Company has named Levita Magnetics one of the world’s most innovative companies,” said surgeon Alberto Rodriguez-Navarro, CEO & Founder, Levita Magnetics. “It is our main goal to advance minimally invasive surgery to further improve patient outcomes.

Levita Magnetics is a first time honoree on this year’s list. Other companies recognized by Fast Company as Most Innovative Companies in Health and Most Innovative Companies in Biotech this year, are companies like Apple, Medtronic, and Johnson & Johnson.
