Struan recently completed a BA in Journalism and Cultural Studies at Cardiff University, and has studied film production in California. As a surfer, it was the pursuit of perfect waves that initially led him to Chile, however, he was soon charmed by the natural beauty and cultural heritage of the country. His home town, in south west England, is at the centre of the drive towards a post oil economy in the UK, and he is keen to explore such initiatives in Latin America.
