Sebastián Piñera unveils his team of undersecretaries (VIDEO)

SANTIAGO – Chile’s president-elect Sebastián Piñera on Wednesday announced the names of 35 undersecretaries ahead of its inauguration next month.

“In 19 more days the government that you chose begins and I know that you share the value of unity,” Piñera said in his message on Twitter.

A total of nine undersecretaries nominated by Mr. Piñera will repeat their positions from the conservative billionaire’s first tenure (2010-2014).

Pinera names his cabinet ministers

The most prominent one is Rodrigo Ubilla , founder of the Libertad Institute, a member of Renovación Nacional and who will be in charge of Interior, the same portfolio he held in the first government of Piñera.

Among those who repeat the portfolio are Alfonso Silva in Foreign Affairs, Claudio Alvarado (UDI) in the Segpres, Fernando Arab in Labor, Lucas Palacios (UDI) in Public Works and Rodrigo Benitez in Environment.
