SANTIAGO – Waypoint, a global helicopter leasing company, has signed an agreement to lease an Airbus H145 to Chilean operator Ecocopter.
This is the first H145 to be ordered by a Chilean operator and is Waypoint’s 14th H145 delivery in total. The helicopter will be used for various utility operations.
Steffen Bay, Waypoint’s vice president sales and relationship management, Latin America, said: “We are pleased to complete our first transaction with Ecocopter, an important new customer for Waypoint, and to facilitate the entry of the H145 to the Chilean market.
“Waypoint prides itself on our ability to provide technical leadership and flexible solutions to our customers, and we look forward to supporting Ecocopter’s utility work in Chile and Peru.”
Ecocopter is a multi-mission operator, flying helicopter passenger transport, cargo, offshore and fire-fighting missions.
