Chile is Asked to Stay Out of Interference in Venezuela

Santiago — Independent Senator Alejandro Navarro requested the Chilean government to stay out of interference in internal affairs in Venezuela, in addition to distancing itself from aggressive positions.

Located behind a huge cloth in which was read: Trump and Almagro, Venezuela is respected, Navarro led a rally in front of the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Chile.

The legislator explained that a letter will be delivered to the Foreign Minister Heraldo Muñoz on behalf of the Union Bicentennial of the Peoples-Chile Chapter, which expresses concern about the role of the southern country in the campaign against Venezuela.

The day before, Chilean President Michelle Bachelet revealed details of her dialogue with U.S. President Donald Trump and the emphasis on the issue of Venezuela, where an expert warned of dangers.

According to Bachelet, the conversation referred in particular to ‘support the look for a way out of the internal situation of Venezuela.’

Navarro, founder of the new political party PAIS, asked Bachelet not to be carried away by the plans of Washington or the Organization of American States (OAS), headed by Luis Almagro.
