En el marco de los 75 años de relaciones diplomáticas entre Chile y Canadá, el Centro Cultural Matucana 100 y la embajada de Canadá te invitan a disfrutar de una muestra de cine que reúne y destaca la diversidad cultural de este gigante de Norteamérica.
“Cool Canadá” es una selección de 10 películas de factura que representan el momento cultural que vive Canadá en los últimos años, poniendo en relieve en la pantalla temas como la igualdad de género, la diversidad sexual, los indígenas canadienses y la integración social de los inmigrantes que han construido el mosaico cultural canadiense. Dentro de la selección destacan “Mommy” de Xavier Dolan, “Incendies” de Denis Villeneuve, “Room” de Lenny Abrahamson y “Monsieur Lazhar” de Philippe Falardeau. Además de los films canadienses, se exhibirá el documental chileno-canadiense “El Huaso” del director Carlo Guillermo Proto.
